ABOUT THE SHOW:
When his husband dies, Remy Washington finds himself both the owner of a drive-in movie theater in Santee, California, and a caregiver to his late husband’s teenaged son, Pup. The duo’s connection is tested when Remy learns Pup’s been bullying a classmate: a boy who likes to paint his nails. Told through skit and duologue, MONSTERS OF THE AMERICAN CINEMA is a humorous and haunting tale about fathers and sons, ghosts and monsters.
MONSTERS OF THE AMERICAN CINEMA contains adult language and references, including racial and homophobic slurs.
Written and Directed by Christian St. Croix
Co-Director: Gabriel Huerta
